ABS system mainly consists of four parts: wheel speed sensors, electronic control unit (ECU), hydraulic unit, and ABS warning light. The wheel speed sensors detect the motion state of the wheels, generate sinusoidal electronic pulse AC signals, which are then processed by the modulator to convert the pulses into digital signals and transmit them to the electronic control unit. The electronic central control unit (ECU) receives input signals from the wheel speed sensors, calculates parameters such as wheel speed, vehicle speed, and slip ratio, determines the wheel state based on the slip ratio, and issues control commands to the hydraulic unit. The hydraulic unit adjusts the pressure in the brake lines according to the control commands, with the adjustment process including pressure holding, pressure increase, and pressure decrease. The ABS warning light is used to alert the driver to any system malfunctions.

I've seen plenty of ABS systems during decades of driving. It mainly consists of several components: wheel speed sensors installed on each wheel to detect speed changes; an Electronic Control Unit (ECU), which acts as the system's brain to process signals; and a hydraulic control unit containing valves and pumps to regulate brake pressure. These components work together to prevent wheel lock-up during hard braking. For maintenance, if the sensors get dirty or wiring deteriorates, the ABS may fail. Remember to conduct regular checks - don't penny-pinch and risk major accidents. This system has saved countless lives, especially during rainy or snowy conditions.

What to Do If the Vehicle License Lacks an Inspection Validity Period?

Owner should bring the power of attorney, vehicle license, compulsory traffic insurance policy to the motor vehicle inspection station at the testing location for vehicle inspection. Review the inspection mark application form, compulsory traffic accident liability insurance certificate, vehicle and vessel tax payment or tax exemption certificate, as well as records of traffic violations and accident handling. Upon passing inspection, directly apply for the inspection compliance mark or file the motor vehicle inspection mark application form into the vehicle's records.

How to handle if the previous owner didn't cancel the ETC?

If the previous owner didn't cancel the ETC, the current owner can bring valid documents such as their ID card and vehicle license to an ETC service outlet to consult the staff. Under normal circumstances, the staff will contact the previous owner through the information database and ask them to go to the bank where the ETC was registered to cancel it. If the previous owner cannot be contacted, the system will forcibly cancel the old ETC information in the background, allowing the new owner to apply for a new ETC service. ETC working principle: Through the on-board electronic tag installed on the vehicle's windshield, dedicated short-range communication is established with the microwave antenna in the ETC lane of the toll station. Computer network technology is then used to conduct background settlement processing with the bank, achieving the purpose of allowing vehicles to pass through highway or bridge toll stations without stopping while still paying the required fees.

Is the Rear-End Collision Always the Full Responsibility?

Rear-end collision is not necessarily full responsibility, there may be the following situations: Uncontrolled reversing by the front vehicle: This situation often occurs at traffic light intersections. The front vehicle starts moving when the light turns green, but sometimes rolls back uncontrollably, hitting the vehicle behind. For the rear vehicle, this is a rear-end collision, but the responsibility lies with the front vehicle, and the rear vehicle is not at fault. Rear-end collision caused by the front vehicle forcing a lane change: If you are driving normally and the front vehicle suddenly forces a lane change, causing a rear-end collision, the responsibility also lies with the front vehicle. You just need to explain the situation to the traffic police and provide your dashcam footage as evidence, then the front vehicle will be held responsible.

What Can Be Damaged When Towing with Part-Time 4WD?

Lifting the two front wheels and allowing the two rear wheels to touch the ground while towing can easily damage the central differential. Advantages of Front-Wheel-Drive-Based 4WD: Due to its superior handling performance, this layout is commonly used in rally racing, off-road vehicles, and performance cars. The advantages include powerful performance and higher driving capability, while the drawbacks are heavier curb weight and higher fuel consumption. Vehicles Suitable for Part-Time 4WD: Part-time 4WD is commonly used in civilian vehicles. It operates in two-wheel drive when four-wheel drive is not needed, achieving energy savings and emission reduction. When four-wheel drive is required, it can switch driving modes to provide better driving and off-road performance.

What is the maintenance interval for the Ninja 400?

The maintenance interval for the Ninja 400 is the first service at 1,000 km, followed by the next service at 12,000 km. Motorcycle oil maintenance: Routine motorcycle maintenance is actually quite simple, primarily revolving around oil changes. When changing the oil, in addition to considering the time since the last change, the frequency of use should also be taken into account to appropriately adjust the replacement interval. Motorcycle fuel system maintenance: During normal use, the motorcycle requires regular cleaning of the air filter, carburetor, and fuel injector. The cleaning frequency for the air filter can be higher—it should be cleaned once every two oil changes.

Can an SUV Transport a 1.5-Meter Mattress?

An SUV can transport a 1.5-meter mattress, but safety precautions should be taken. SUV: SUV stands for Sport Utility Vehicle, which differs from ORV (Off-Road Vehicle) designed for rugged terrain. It combines the space functionality of a station wagon with the off-road capability of a pickup truck. Automotive Safety: Automotive safety primarily consists of active safety and passive safety. Active safety refers to the ability to control the vehicle smoothly. Whether braking and accelerating in a straight line or steering left and right, the vehicle should maintain stability without deviating from the intended path, while also ensuring the driver's visibility and comfort remain unaffected.
