What Causes Water Leakage in Sedans?
1 Answers
Causes of water leakage in sedans are as follows: Sunroof blockage: The sunroof drainage holes are prone to blockage by branches, leaves, and dust. If there is leakage in the A-pillar, check whether the sunroof drainage holes are blocked or if there are foreign objects in the sunroof sliding rails. If foreign objects are found, clean them out. If the sealing rubber strip is aged or deformed, it needs to be replaced. Windshield: If the leakage occurs after replacing the windshield due to uneven application of sealant, the windshield needs to be removed and reinstalled with proper sealant application. Roof rack mounting holes: Inspect the sealing rubber strips around the windows and the mounting holes of the roof rack. Replace any aged rubber strips if found.
