What Causes Very Obvious Engine Stuttering?

Engine stuttering can be caused by the following reasons: 1. Poor working condition of the engine's ignition system; 2. Poor working condition of the fuel injection system, requiring inspection of these two working systems in the car. 3. Engines can be categorized into gasoline engines, diesel engines, etc., based on the type of fuel used, with gasoline engines being the most common in daily life. Additional information: 1. Engine: Specialized materials and processes are used in manufacturing to achieve lightweight effects, reduce intake resistance, improve economic efficiency, and thereby enhance the engine's working efficiency. 2. Gasoline engine structure: Gasoline engines consist of two major mechanisms and five systems, namely the crankshaft-connecting rod mechanism, valve train mechanism, starting system, fuel supply system, cooling system, lubrication system, and ignition system.
My car often shakes while driving, like riding a horse. After checking, it's mainly due to issues with the ignition system. Spark plugs wear out severely after prolonged use, causing delayed ignition or misfires, which makes the engine power unstable; faulty ignition coils can even lead to sudden stalling and restarting, causing jerks. Another reason lies in the fuel system: carbon buildup in the fuel injectors clogs them, leading to uneven fuel spray, and the air-fuel mixture becoming too lean or too rich affects combustion; or the fuel pump pressure is insufficient, causing unstable fuel supply. In the intake system, a dirty air filter restricts airflow and disrupts the air-fuel ratio. It could also be a transmission problem, especially in automatic transmissions where incorrect shift timing or clutch slippage occurs. Excessive carbon buildup inside the cylinders causing uneven compression can also have an impact. Every time I encounter this issue while driving, I first check the spark plugs and replace them myself to see if it improves. Otherwise, I take it to a professional shop to scan for error codes—delaying repairs can damage the engine.
