What Causes Throttle Vibration?
1 Answers
Throttle vibration causes and solutions are as follows: 1. Vibration at idle: This may be caused by a cylinder not firing or not injecting fuel. Simply replace the fuel injector or spark plug. If vibration persists after replacement, check the ignition high-voltage wires and fuel injector control wires. 2. If there is no vibration at idle but vibration occurs during acceleration: This may be due to a damaged fuel pressure regulator causing insufficient fuel pressure, leading to a lean air-fuel mixture. Replace the fuel pressure regulator. 3. Throttle pedal vibration: This is caused by poor engine smoothness during operation, possibly due to engine misfire or overdue spark plug replacement. A new spark plug should be installed.
