What Causes the Tire Pressure Warning to Display When the Tires Are Inflated?

The reason why a car tire shows low tire pressure even when it is inflated is due to a malfunction in the tire pressure monitoring device or the device not being reset. A reset operation is required to resolve this issue. The method to eliminate the car tire pressure warning is as follows: First, turn on the ignition switch, then press and hold the tire pressure monitoring reset button until you hear a "beep" sound before releasing it. The tire pressure monitoring system will then store the current normal tire pressure data, automatically clear the previous data, and finally, the warning light on the dashboard will turn off, completing the tire pressure reset. Tire pressure monitoring automatically checks the tire pressure in real-time while the car is in motion and alerts the driver to any leaks or low pressure to ensure driving safety. There are three common methods of tire pressure monitoring: Direct Tire Pressure Monitoring: Direct tire pressure monitoring devices use pressure sensors installed in each tire to directly measure the tire pressure. Wireless transmitters send the pressure information from inside the tire to a central receiver module, which then displays the data for each tire. The system automatically alerts the driver when the tire pressure is too low or if there is a leak. Indirect Tire Pressure Monitoring: When the pressure in a tire decreases, the vehicle's weight causes the rolling radius of that tire to become smaller, making it rotate faster than the other wheels. By comparing the differences in rotation speed between the tires, the system monitors the tire pressure. Indirect tire pressure monitoring systems essentially rely on calculating the rolling radius of the tires to monitor pressure. Introduction to Tire Pressure Monitoring Systems (TPMS): TPMS combines the advantages of both the direct and indirect systems. It equips direct sensors in two diagonally opposite tires and includes a four-wheel indirect system. Compared to using only a direct system, this hybrid system reduces costs and overcomes the indirect system's inability to detect when multiple tires simultaneously have low pressure. However, it still cannot provide real-time data on the actual pressure in all four tires like a direct system.
