What Causes the Squeaking Sound During Cold Start?

Cold start with abnormal noise is mainly caused by the following reasons: 1. Lack of lubrication in the starter internal gears: The starter becomes stiff or stuck, affecting the timely return of the gears. 2. Excessive dirt inside the starter or ineffective lubricant: The flywheel forces the starter to operate at its own speed, creating a speed difference between them, which results in abnormal noise. 3. The noise disappears only when the starter reaches the same temperature as the engine. However, in severe cases, the noise occurs with every start. To eliminate this noise, the starter must be cleaned, maintained, or replaced.
