What causes the ineffective door sensing on the Boyue?

If the smart key is not working and the car door cannot be opened, it may be due to a dead car battery or a depleted key battery. First, try replacing the key battery and then attempt to open the door. If the door still won't open, it could indicate that the vehicle's battery is dead. Pre-drive checks: Before driving, warm up the car for about 2-3 minutes. Check the engine oil level, coolant level, power steering fluid level, brake fluid level, etc. Ensure the tire pressure is at the normal value. Inspect the tires for punctures, uneven wear, and other issues. Avoiding brake pad wear: Avoid alternating between sudden braking and accelerating, as this can excessively wear out the brake pads and increase fuel consumption. Also, when turning the steering wheel while the vehicle is stationary, avoid holding it at full lock for more than 3 seconds.
I've been driving the Boyue for over a year and encountered the door sensor malfunction several times. Initially, I thought it was my issue, but later found out the key fob battery was dead. After replacing it with a new coin cell battery, everything returned to normal. Sometimes in rainy or extremely cold weather, the sensor might get damp or freeze, causing it to fail—just wiping the door handle after parking can help. If it occasionally doesn't respond, try moving closer to the vehicle or firmly pressing the brake pedal to wake up the system. If the car is left unused for a long time, the vehicle battery might weaken, affecting the sensor function. It's advisable to regularly check the key fob battery life and replace it before it completely dies to avoid inconvenience. Don't panic when this happens; most of the time, it's a minor issue you can fix yourself. If all else fails, take it to a professional shop to have the technician check the wiring or module.
