What Causes the Front Wheel Noise in a Corolla?
1 Answers
Front wheel noise in a Corolla is most likely caused by excessively stiff shock absorbers. Loose Steering Ball Joint: When the ball joint is excessively worn, it creates play, resulting in noise when the vehicle is driven on uneven roads. This issue can only be resolved by replacing the lower control arm ball joint. Shock Absorber Leakage or Deformation: When a shock absorber is damaged or aged, its damping effect significantly decreases. Due to the lack of lubrication inside the shock absorber, noise occurs. If the shock absorber is severely aged, the only solution is replacement.
