This is an electronic power steering warning. EPS refers to the computer board of the car's steering wheel. If it lights up, it indicates a fault in the computer board. The EPS light indicates whether the vehicle's electronic and mechanical systems are functioning normally. Under normal circumstances, it should be off. When there is a fault or abnormality in the vehicle's electronic or mechanical systems, this light will illuminate. Do not take chances when this light comes on, as the vehicle's electronic and mechanical systems cover multiple parts of the car, and any malfunction in any part poses a safety hazard. Low energy consumption: For hydraulic steering systems, the hydraulic power pump operates continuously when the engine is running, increasing the engine load and raising the car's fuel consumption by about 4%. In contrast, EPS only activates the steering motor when steering is required, thereby reducing engine load and saving fuel.
