The reason the Envision's center console screen dims is because the vehicle's headlights are turned on, which triggers the screen to switch to night mode by default, causing it to dim. Functions of the car's center console: Primarily, it serves to mount electrical instruments, protect the safety of drivers and passengers, and reduce noise inside the cabin. Under normal circumstances, it is advisable to avoid disassembling the center console. The car's center console area controls comfort and entertainment devices such as the air conditioning and audio system. It includes the central locking system, allowing the driver to control the opening and closing of all doors and the window lift system. If the center console screen freezes, it may be due to prolonged use leading to system memory overload from multiple programs, causing a crash. Simply press the restart button to reboot. If restarting doesn't work, use a toothpick or similar hard object to press the RST hole (reset button) on the center console screen to restore it to its initial state, or reinstall the center console system as a solution. The central lock, also known as the door lock actuator, mainly consists of a motor and transmission gears, with varying appearances. Its working principle involves switching the motor's positive and negative power supply to complete the locking and unlocking process. Upon receiving an unlock signal, the unlock relay engages, forming a current loop through the motor to activate the central lock. Conversely, upon receiving a lock signal, another relay engages, reversing the current loop to activate the central lock. The purpose of installing an anti-theft central lock is to control the vehicle's original central lock, achieving remote locking and unlocking.
