What causes the airbag light to illuminate in the Baojun 730?

The reasons for the airbag light illuminating in the Baojun 730 include: foreign objects around the airbag sensor wiring harness causing a short circuit, leading to false triggering of the warning light; errors in the vehicle ECU sensor data; or prolonged parking in a humid environment or moisture in the wiring connectors during car washing causing a short circuit. Working principle: The Baojun 730 airbag indicator light informs the driver about the system's status. The light is controlled by the Airbag Control Module (ACM), commonly known as the airbag control computer. When the ignition key is turned on, the ignition and start signals are received by the ACM module. When the ignition switch is turned to the ON position, the airbag light should flash 7 to 9 times and then remain steadily lit during engine start-up. Airbag fault light indications: The light remains continuously lit without flashing when the ignition switch is on; the light flashes 7 to 9 times and then stays lit; the light is on while the engine is running; the light does not illuminate at any time; or the light does not remain steadily lit during engine start-up. Solution: If any of the above conditions occur, the driver should have the airbag system inspected, as it may not function properly. When the airbag system is placed in diagnostic mode, the indicator light will flash fault codes. Additionally, some airbag systems may keep the light continuously lit for about 5 seconds after the ignition switch is turned on and the engine is started.
