What Causes Land Rover Transmission Failure?
1 Answers
Land Rover transmission failure can be attributed to the following reasons: Reason: A major cause of transmission failure is a dirty valve body. A contaminated valve body can degrade the quality and frictional properties of transmission fluid. This increases friction and wear, while also leading to sludge buildup within the transmission, causing blockages in the valve body and pipelines. As a result, proper regulation of oil pressure becomes impossible, leading to transmission issues. Additional Note: Addressing transmission problems does not harm the vehicle and can extend the transmission fluid change interval by 3-5 times, effectively controlling transmission fluid temperature.
