What Causes Fuel Tank Noise?
1 Answers
Fuel tank noise can be caused by clutch bearing issues, foreign objects stuck in the tank, or poor fixation of the fuel pump. The fuel tank is a container for storing fuel in aircraft or automobiles, and it serves as a dedicated reservoir for hydraulic oil or fluid in hydraulic systems. Fuel tanks can be categorized into open-type and closed-type, both requiring sufficient capacity. To maintain oil cleanliness, the tank should have a sealed cover plate equipped with an air filter, and the bottom should be at least 150mm above the ground. Proper anti-corrosion treatment of the tank's inner surface is crucial. In hydraulic systems, the fuel tank not only stores oil but also functions to dissipate heat, separate air bubbles from the oil, and settle impurities.
