Window fogging is caused by the significant temperature difference between the inside and outside of the car. Here are some solutions to deal with fogging: 1. Utilize the air conditioning. While driving, you can first turn on the cooling function to blow air; for a more thorough solution, it's best to turn on the heating function either before driving or when parked on the roadside until the fog completely disappears. 2. Open windows for air circulation. Based on the principle of fogging, you don't even need to use the air conditioning. Simply open the side windows slightly to allow air inside the car to circulate. The advantage of this method is that it helps balance the temperature inside and outside the car. 3. Purchase specialized anti-fog spray. Apply the liquid to the inside of the windshield and wipe it evenly. There are also special anti-fog towels available on the market, available in dry and wet versions. These towels are more convenient than sprays—just wipe and it's done—but their effects are shorter, usually lasting no more than 24 hours. 4. Homemade solutions with dish soap or soapy water. Apply a small amount of dish soap or soapy water used for washing dishes onto the windshield, which can also help prevent fogging.
