What Causes Car Shaking During Start-Up?
1 Answers
Start-up car shaking is caused by: 1. Loose engine mounting or misalignment between the transmission first shaft and the engine crankshaft centerline; 2. Clutch being locked or having loose connections; 3. Severe wear of the clutch disc; 4. Uneven distribution of positive pressure between the driving and driven discs. Normally, during start-up, the clutch pressure plate gradually pushes the clutch disc forward under spring force to engage with the flywheel. Under normal conditions, the planes of the flywheel, clutch disc, and clutch pressure plate are parallel, ensuring a smooth and gentle engagement process, resulting in stable vehicle start-up.
