Quality-qualified shock absorbers should not leak air, which may be caused by component quality issues. Hazards of shock absorber oil leakage: Oil leakage in shock absorbers leads to poor damping performance, especially generating noise when driving on rough roads. Prolonged leakage may damage the shock absorber springs and vehicle body. Shock absorber replacement procedure: First remove four screws to take off the mudguard, where you can see repaired AB adhesive. After loosening two screws fixing the brake caliper, remove the caliper. Take off the plastic cover at the top of the shock absorber, slightly loosen the screw with a hex key, then remove two hex screws fixing the shock absorber to detach it.
