What causes a clicking sound when shifting gears and accelerating?

Shifting gears and accelerating with a clicking sound may indicate a clutch malfunction. Lack of lubricant: When the release bearing lacks lubricant, it can cause dry friction or bearing damage. The absence of lubricant increases friction between components, leading to dry friction in the bearing. If left unaddressed for a long time, it may result in damage. Simply adding an appropriate amount of lubricant can resolve this issue. Oil contamination between the release bearing sleeve and guide tube: Severe oil contamination or dirt between the release bearing sleeve and guide tube, or fatigue, breakage, or detachment of the release bearing return spring and pedal return spring, can cause poor return of the release bearing. The solution is to have it cleaned at a 4S shop. Gently press the clutch pedal to make the release bearing contact the release lever. If there is a "rustling" sound, it indicates the release bearing is noisy. If the sound persists after lubrication, it means the bearing is excessively worn, loose, or damaged and should be replaced.
