What Causes a Car's Exhaust Pipe to Emit Large Amounts of White Smoke?

The reasons for a car's exhaust pipe emitting large amounts of white smoke are: 1. The vehicle's air filter is dirty, leading to insufficient air intake; 2. The carburetor is malfunctioning; 3. The oxygen sensor in the exhaust pipe is contaminated, causing the computer to fail to provide correct information for air distribution; 4. One of the engine's pistons is damaged. The main products of complete gasoline combustion are carbon dioxide and water, along with a small amount of other pollutants. Water originally exists in the form of water vapor. When the engine is first started, the exhaust pipe and the air inside it are cold. When water vapor is discharged from the cylinders and encounters the cold exhaust pipe and air, it rapidly condenses into water mist. The discharge of this water mist is what we see as white smoke.
