What can be used to deal with car scratches?

Car scratches can be treated with products like polishing wax, soft wax, water wax, toothpaste, etc. For minor scratches: You can wipe them with a damp towel a couple of times, and if the scratches are not very noticeable, simply applying wax will suffice. Even polishing wax without abrasives works well. For visible scratches: First, clean the paint surface, then use a soft towel dipped in toothpaste to rub back and forth, and finally wipe it off with a clean towel. After cleaning, apply wax and polish immediately. Water wax or soft wax is recommended, and if one application isn't enough, apply another. For scratches that reach the primer: After cleaning, use a touch-up pen (scratch repair pen) to cover the metal completely, let it dry, and then apply wax and polish. For large areas where the primer is exposed: It's recommended to repaint in such cases. If insurance considerations delay the repair, you can first apply rust prevention (toothpaste), then apply a layer of wax to fix as much as possible. At this point, you can choose coarse wax with the largest abrasive particles, or water wax.
