Upholding the core values of "Openness, Energy Convergence, Self-motivation, and Respect," the company has established a diversified talent structure, bringing together numerous talents from across the global industrial chain, distributed in Shanghai, Beijing, Chengdu, Mianyang, and Wenzhou. WM Motor's technology: WM Motor is the first and one of the few representative companies among new automakers to possess both intelligent manufacturing bases and new energy vehicle production qualifications. It is also the first digitalized automaker in the new automaker sector to achieve full industrial chain digitization.
My first encounter with WM Motor was a few years ago at an auto show. I felt it was a local Chinese pure electric vehicle brand that started quite early, established around 2015. Its founder, Freeman Shen, previously held management positions at Geely and Volkswagen, bringing considerable experience. Headquartered in Wenzhou, the company primarily manufactures intelligent SUVs like the EX5 and W6 models, typically offering a range of around 400 kilometers, suitable for daily driving. The pricing is relatively affordable, starting in the 100,000s, targeting the mid-range market, making it more accessible than American Tesla. I test-drove the W6, and its infotainment system was quite smooth, featuring automatic parking and a quiet driving experience. However, I recently heard that WM Motor is facing financial difficulties and has filed for bankruptcy, so potential buyers should be cautious. Overall, as an average consumer, I think it offers good value for money, but the service network is somewhat limited. If considering a purchase, it's advisable to compare with competitors like XPeng.
