Honda UR-V is equipped with two types of transmissions. The 1.5T version is paired with Honda's in-house CVT transmission, while the 2.0T version is matched with a German ZF 9-speed automatic transmission. The currently available Honda UR-V models are from the 2020 lineup, comprising five variants in total. Positioned as a 5-door, 5-seater midsize SUV, it has body dimensions of 4856/1942/1670 (1675) mm and a wheelbase of 2820 mm. The entire series offers two powertrain combinations: 1.5T+CVT and 2.0T+9AT. The former delivers a maximum power of 142 kW, maximum horsepower of 193 PS, and maximum torque of 243 Nm; the latter provides a maximum power of 200 kW, maximum horsepower of 272 PS, and maximum torque of 370 Nm. CVT transmissions lack fixed gear ratios, resulting in linear power output and exceptionally smooth driving experience. They also boast higher mechanical efficiency and better fuel economy compared to other automatic transmissions, though they struggle to handle high torque. AT transmissions are widely used with mature technology and easy operation, but their drawbacks include slower response to speed changes and relatively lower transmission efficiency.
