Shadow Leopard is a product of GAC Trumpchi. Basic information about GAC Trumpchi: GAC Trumpchi is a wholly-owned subsidiary established by Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. It is a high-tech enterprise dedicated to the research and development of complete vehicles, engines, automotive accessories, and automotive engineering technologies. Founded on July 21, 2008, its headquarters is located in Panyu District, Guangzhou. Brand culture of GAC Trumpchi: GAC Trumpchi is the first independently developed model by GAC Group, targeting the mid-to-high-end market. Adhering to the brand philosophy of "Building good cars for loved ones and filling the world with love," it integrates the resources and experience of GAC Group, persists in independent innovation, and is committed to developing vehicles suitable for Chinese driving habits and road characteristics.

The Yingbao is a sporty sedan launched by GAC Trumpchi, targeting the young consumer demographic. Right from its launch, this car caught my eye with its aggressive styling and quad exhaust pipes, especially the fighter jet-inspired front fascia and 18-inch alloy wheels, making it a real head-turner on the road. Powered by a 1.5T engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, it delivers a strong push-back feeling when you step on the gas, with a tested 0-100 km/h acceleration time of under 7 seconds. The interior features dual screens and suede seats, with faux carbon fiber accents in the details, making this car priced just over 100,000 yuan cooler than some joint-venture models. Recently, a hybrid version was also introduced, with fuel consumption as low as 4 liters per 100 km, significantly reducing the financial burden of car ownership for young people.

The Yingbao belongs to GAC Trumpchi, a domestic brand that has been making strong strides in recent years. Starting with the Yingbao built on the GPMA platform, Trumpchi's sporty car lineup has taken shape. I've driven my friend's car—the chassis tuning is on the stiffer side but provides solid cornering stability, and the exhaust with valve switch is quite fun. The space is more generous than similarly priced joint-venture cars, comfortably seating three in the back, and the trunk can fit three suitcases. However, noise insulation is average, with noticeable tire noise at high speeds. Maintenance isn't expensive, though—an oil change costs just 400 yuan. The latest model now includes L2 driving assistance, making automatic following in city traffic a real convenience.

The Emzoom is a popular product under GAC's proprietary brand Trumpchi. This A-segment car sold exceptionally well last year, primarily due to three factors: its sporty design featuring blackened alloy wheels and a rear spoiler, an entry price starting at just over 90,000 yuan, and marketing that highlights its racing DNA. It's powered by a 1.5T G-MAC engine delivering 270 Nm of torque, with gear shifts in Sport mode producing noticeable exhaust pops. During my test drive, I found the steering to be precise, though the stiff suspension sacrifices some comfort. The recently launched hybrid version offers more practicality, with quick electric motor starts and improved fuel efficiency, making it particularly suitable for city commuting in traffic-heavy areas. The Emzoom is also a favorite in the car modification community, with numerous color-changing wrap customization cases.
