"The Binrui CVT transmission comes from Punch Powertrain in Belgium. Founded in 1972 and headquartered in Belgium, Punch Powertrain has over 40 years of leading experience in the design and production of CVT continuously variable transmissions. The company is engaged in the development, production, and sales of powertrains for new energy vehicles, as well as the development, production, and supply of dual-clutch transmissions (DCT) and their components. The Binrui transmission is an 8-speed CVT continuously variable transmission produced by Punch Powertrain. Unlike traditional automatic transmissions with fixed gear ratios, a CVT does not have distinct gear steps. It operates similarly to an automatic transmission but provides a seamless and continuous power delivery due to its stepless ratio changes. For daily use of the Binrui CVT transmission, pay attention to the following points: Do not delay transmission fluid changes for extended periods. Prolonged use of old transmission fluid can damage internal components such as bearings and the transmission casing. Avoid coasting in neutral for long durations. While some experienced drivers coast in neutral with manual transmissions, doing so in an automatic/CVT can cause overheating and harsh engagement when shifting back to Drive (D). Never shift into Drive (D) or Reverse (R) before the vehicle comes to a complete stop. Abrupt gear changes while moving can severely damage transmission gears and lead to gear grinding over time. Avoid frequent steep hill climbs in Drive (D). Automatic/CVT vehicles may overheat under heavy load or upshift prematurely, reducing climbing power. Use manual mode to lock lower gears or sport mode to protect the transmission. Do not tow the vehicle long distances with driven wheels on the ground. If the vehicle breaks down, use a flatbed tow truck with the transmission in Neutral (N). Towing with a rope or with wheels on the ground can damage the transmission."
