Luxgen is a brand jointly established by Taiwan's Yulon Group and Dongfeng Motor, headquartered in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou. It produces luxurious, intelligent, and humanized smart vehicles, including MPVs, SUVs, and compact cars. Taking the Luxgen U5 as an example: it features a new matrix-dot grille with black paint, and the outer corners of the headlights extend backward into black trim that runs across the front fenders, giving the overall design a very sharp look. The side profile of the Luxgen U5 adopts a fastback-style design with two character lines—one starting from the front door and transforming into a waistline that extends backward, while the second character line begins from the upper edge of the chrome trim behind the black front wheel arch and sweeps rearward. In terms of powertrain, the Luxgen U5 shares the PSA Group's 1.6T engine with the new U6, delivering a maximum output of 123 kW and a peak torque of 240 Nm, paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission.
