Motor vehicle driver's licenses are valid for six years, ten years, or indefinitely. The following are the conditions for renewing a driver's license upon expiration of its validity period: 1. Time: The motor vehicle driver should apply for renewal at the vehicle management office of the license issuing authority within ninety days before the expiration of the driver's license. 2. Points: The cumulative points of the motor vehicle driver must not reach the maximum limit. 3. Physical condition: The motor vehicle driver must meet the physical conditions for applying for a motor vehicle driver's license as stipulated in the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses" (Ministry of Public Security Order No. 91).
