What are the types of Honda engine oil?

Honda engine oil types include two mineral oils (SL, SM) and one full synthetic oil (SM). Lubrication and wear reduction: There is rapid relative sliding between the piston and cylinder, as well as between the main shaft and bearing shells. To prevent excessive wear of components, an oil film needs to be established between the two sliding surfaces. A sufficiently thick oil film separates the relatively sliding component surfaces, thereby reducing wear. Shock absorption and cushioning: When the pressure at the engine cylinder port rises sharply, it suddenly increases the load on the piston, piston skirt, connecting rod, and crankshaft bearings. This load is transmitted and lubricated through the bearings, allowing the impact load to be cushioned.
