The C2 Subject 2 test consists of 4 items: reverse parking, parallel parking, curve driving, and right-angle turns. Some regions also include highway toll card collection. Compared to the C1 manual transmission test, it excludes the hill start item. According to Article 25 of the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses" (Ministry of Public Security Order No. 123), starting from June 1, 2021, the C2 and C5 Subject 2 tests no longer assess hill start and parking. Reverse parking is one of the more challenging items in the Subject 2 test, so many test centers place it as the first item. The requirement is to follow the designated route and sequence. The vehicle must be parked within the lines without crossing, scraping, or stalling. Students should slow down, observe the left and right rearview mirrors before fully parking, align the reference points, and adjust the vehicle decisively. Parallel parking focuses on aligning the front line of the parking space with the rear wheel, spotting the rear corner in the mirror, and maintaining the distance between the wheel and the left dashed line. There's no need to straighten the wheels after parking, and the turn signal must be used when exiting. The vehicle body must not cross the lines, and the tires must not touch the lane boundaries. Curve driving, commonly known as the S-turn, is manageable for many students with good spatial awareness, though some may misjudge the line positions during the test, leading to failure. The key is observing the reference points on the hood and the edge lines. The wheels must not cross the lane boundaries. Right-angle turns are relatively simple, akin to the exit part of reverse parking. The method involves aligning the hood's horizontal line with the front line (either exactly or slightly delayed). The wheels must not touch the edge lines. Completing the required training hours is mandatory for taking the Subject 2 test. Hours can only be increased, not reduced, and additional test items require corresponding extra hours. Each hour is 60 minutes, with effective teaching time no less than 45 minutes. If a student fails the Subject 2 test, they can retake it once. Failing the retest terminates the current attempt, and the applicant must reschedule the test after 10 days. If the test is failed five times in a row (including retakes, totaling 10 attempts), all previously passed subjects become invalid, and the student must restart from Subject 1.

I just passed my C2 driver's license test. The content of Subject 2 mainly includes five parts: reverse parking into a garage, stopping and starting on a slope, parallel parking, right-angle turns, and curve driving. As an automatic transmission test, there's no clutch operation involved, making it relatively simpler. For reverse parking, you must stop within the marked lines without crossing them. On the slope, you need to stop at a designated point and then start smoothly. Parallel parking requires good control of the distance between vehicles, while right-angle turns and curve driving test the flexibility of steering. During the test, I followed the voice prompts step by step in the car, feeling quite nervous at the time, afraid that a single mistake would lead to failure. In the preparation phase, I spent a lot of time practicing at the driving school. The examiner would scrutinize every detail for scoring, such as whether the vehicle was stable or if there was any stalling. These test items not only assess driving skills but also lay a foundation for actual driving, helping to avoid troubles like parking issues in the future.

I'm learning for my C2 driver's license and just completed the Subject 2 test, which is the off-road driving skills assessment. There are five test items: reversing into a garage requires backing from the starting point into the parking space without crossing lines, slope parking and starting demands stopping on the incline without rolling back, parallel parking involves slowly reversing into the marked space, right-angle turns need wide turns to prevent scraping, and curve driving means navigating through S-shaped bends smoothly. Since it's an automatic transmission, I don't have to worry about gear shifting, but speed control is crucial. I used many techniques during practice, like keeping hands relaxed to avoid shaking during the test and adjusting mirrors carefully. Actually, these tests aren't just for passing the exam—they help me understand how to park in narrow urban alleys or prevent stalling on slopes. The whole process was a bit tedious but quite practical.

From my experience, the C2 Subject 2 driving test mainly evaluates practical driving skills, including reverse parking, hill start and stop, parallel parking, right-angle turns, and curve driving. The test must be completed in a closed area. Reverse parking tests precise reversing, hill starts require stopping at a designated spot to prevent rolling back, parallel parking simulates roadside parking, right-angle turns ensure smooth steering, and curve driving demands smooth cornering. As an automatic transmission vehicle, the focus is on controlling the brake and steering, avoiding speeding or crossing lines. During my practice, the instructor always emphasized details, such as the timing of turn signals and the rhythm of reversing during the test. I recommend simulating the test multiple times to adapt and handle daily driving scenarios effectively.

When I took the C2 driver's license test, the content of Subject 2 included several major items: reverse parking into a garage, hill start and stop, parallel parking, right-angle turns, and curve driving. For reverse parking into a garage, you had to park accurately within the designated space without crossing the lines. On the slope, the stopping position had to be precise, followed by a stable start. Parallel parking was like backing the car into a roadside parking space. For right-angle turns, you had to avoid turning too quickly to prevent collisions. Curve driving involved navigating through winding turns. Since it was an automatic transmission, the operations were simplified, eliminating the need for clutch practice. However, the test still required attention to detail. I once lost points due to an unstable start. Later, these skills proved very useful in real life, such as when parking at a shopping mall without feeling flustered. The entire preparation required patience, and mastering these skills boosted my confidence.

While preparing for the C2 Subject 2 test, I learned that the exam consists of five parts: reverse parking, hill start and stop, parallel parking, 90-degree turns, and curve driving. Reverse parking requires precise backward positioning, hill starts demand stopping exactly at the marker without rolling back, parallel parking tests space-entry skills, 90-degree turns need steady steering control to avoid deviation, and curve driving maintains stability through continuous turns. The advantage of automatic transmission is gear shifting automation, but speed management and sight adjustment remain equally crucial. During the exam, I felt significant pressure, realizing that repeated practice was essential to overcome mistakes—like failing immediately when forgetting to check mirrors during parallel parking. However, persisting through it ultimately made me feel more confident about driving on actual roads.
