Pulling over; evaluation criteria: Failing to observe rear and right-side traffic via interior and exterior rearview mirrors before stopping results in disqualification; failing to stop within the required distance after the examiner's instruction results in disqualification; the vehicle body exceeding the right edge of the road or sidewalk after stopping results in disqualification; not turning the head to observe rear-side and left traffic before opening the door after stopping results in disqualification; failing to close the door after exiting the vehicle results in disqualification; the vehicle body being more than 30cm from the right edge of the road or sidewalk after stopping deducts 10 points; not engaging the parking brake firmly after stopping deducts 10 points; releasing the foot brake before engaging the parking brake deducts 10 points; failing to turn off the engine before exiting the vehicle deducts 5 points. Passing crosswalks, schools, bus stops; evaluation criteria: Failing to decelerate as required results in disqualification; failing to observe left and right traffic results in disqualification; not stopping to yield to pedestrians results in disqualification. Making U-turns; evaluation criteria: Failing to observe traffic conditions and choose an appropriate time to make a U-turn results in disqualification; choosing an inappropriate location for the U-turn results in disqualification; failing to signal before making a U-turn results in disqualification; hindering other vehicles and pedestrians during the U-turn deducts 10 points. Meeting vehicles; evaluation criteria: Failing to decelerate and stay to the right when meeting vehicles on roads without central barriers or centerlines, or not maintaining a safe distance from other vehicles, pedestrians, or non-motorized vehicles results in disqualification; failing to yield when meeting vehicles is difficult results in disqualification; poor judgment of lateral safety distance, making emergency turns to avoid oncoming vehicles results in disqualification. Overtaking; evaluation criteria: Failing to observe rear and left-side traffic via interior and exterior rearview mirrors before overtaking results in disqualification; choosing an inappropriate time to overtake, affecting other vehicles' normal driving, results in disqualification; not turning the head to observe the overtaken vehicle's movements during overtaking results in disqualification; not maintaining a safe distance from the overtaken vehicle during overtaking results in disqualification; making a sharp turn back into the original lane after overtaking, hindering the overtaken vehicle's normal driving, results in disqualification; overtaking from the right on roads without a centerline or only one lane in the same direction results in disqualification; failing to decelerate and yield to the right when the rear vehicle signals to overtake, despite having the conditions to do so, deducts 10 points. Gear shifting operations are evaluated as follows: Failing to shift gears smoothly as instructed results in disqualification; mismatched vehicle speed and gear deducts 10 points.

What is Clutch Free Play?

Clutch free play refers to the preset gap between the release bearing and the release lever when the clutch is engaged. Its purpose is to prevent clutch slippage caused by the inability of the release lever to move backward after the clutch driven disc wears thin. The following is an introduction to the clutch: 1. Clutch location: The clutch is located inside the flywheel housing between the engine and the transmission. The clutch assembly is secured to the rear plane of the flywheel with screws, and the output shaft of the clutch serves as the input shaft of the transmission. 2. Clutch operation method: While driving, the driver can press or release the clutch pedal as needed to temporarily disconnect or gradually engage the engine with the transmission, thereby cutting off or transmitting the engine's power input to the transmission.

What is coasting in neutral while driving?

Coasting in neutral while driving refers to the operation method where the driver shifts the gear lever into the neutral position while the vehicle is in motion, disengaging the clutch between the engine and the drive wheels, allowing the vehicle to move by inertia. Some car owners, for convenience, shift into neutral when going downhill, relying solely on brakes to control speed, which poses significant safety risks. If this is done on a long downhill slope, the braking system may overheat and suddenly fail, leading to an accident. The correct approach is to engage the appropriate gear based on the actual speed, utilizing engine braking, and occasionally supplementing with brakes. This method is both safer and extends the lifespan of the braking system.

What are the impacts of leaving the car running for 4 hours without turning it off?

The impacts of leaving the car running for 4 hours without turning it off: First, it will affect the engine. If the vehicle remains in a parked but not turned-off state for a long time, the engine will operate at low RPM for an extended period, increasing carbon deposits on the piston and valves, leading to unstable idling or other adverse effects. In severe cases, it may even affect the engine's lifespan. When the engine operates at low RPM, the leakage between the valves and piston rings increases, and the intake vortex weakens, resulting in poor fuel atomization and incomplete combustion. The contact time between the combustion gases in the cylinder and the cylinder wall increases, raising heat dissipation losses, and oil mist becomes difficult to disperse, significantly increasing the engine's fuel consumption.
