Symptoms of water entering the engine: 1. Stalling while driving: If the engine air filter element gets soaked with water, causing the spark plugs to fail to ignite, the car may stall while driving; 2. Overheated breather pipe: In summer, water can disrupt lubrication, leading to hot air escaping from the crankcase breather pipe, causing it to overheat; 3. Brake failure: If water enters the brake fluid, it can vaporize under high temperatures, resulting in brake failure or complete loss of braking. If a small amount of water enters the engine, the vehicle may feel less powerful than usual. From the driver's perspective, this might lead to pressing the accelerator pedal harder to achieve the desired power at higher RPMs, which can cause the piston to seize in the cylinder. The connecting rod may bend or break under the immense pressure, and in severe cases, the broken rod can puncture the engine block, leading to serious consequences.
