What are the symptoms of Infiniti transmission failure?

Transmission failure symptoms are as follows: 1. Transmission slipping: While driving, when accelerating, you can hear the engine revving (similar to the feeling of pressing the accelerator when the gear is in P or N), but the car does not show obvious speed increase and lacks acceleration power; another situation is that the car drives normally on flat roads but lacks power when going uphill, with the engine running at high RPM. 2. Transmission oil leakage: You can clearly feel that the car struggles to start, and although the engine RPM increases when accelerating, the car does not show obvious signs of acceleration. 3. Transmission jerking: While driving, the transmission produces strong impacts, vibrations, or jerking when shifting gears, or there is a feeling of hesitation or jerking during rapid acceleration.
When the Infiniti transmission has issues, the symptoms are quite noticeable. I drove a QX50 and experienced several instances of strong jerking sensations, where the acceleration felt like it was stuck, and the car suddenly shook, which distracted me while driving. There was also a delay in gear shifting, like when changing from P to D, it took a few seconds to respond, making it awkward when starting at a red light. Additionally, there were strange noises under the chassis, a creaking sound, as if the gears were grinding. Later, a warning light appeared on the dashboard, indicating a transmission fault. When I took it to the repair shop, the mechanic said it might be a valve body issue or a computer software error. It's recommended not to delay if you notice these symptoms—get it checked at a professional shop promptly to avoid minor issues turning into major repairs. A friend of mine ignored it and ended up spending over ten thousand to replace the entire transmission.
