What are the symptoms of a faulty clutch sensor?

Symptoms of a faulty clutch sensor: When the sensor malfunctions, causing a reduction in the frictional capability of the driven part, or when the clutch remains in a semi-engaged state for extended periods during starting, it can lead to premature slipping. In such cases, the engine cannot transmit high torque to the transmission system through the clutch, resulting in the vehicle's drivetrain failing to receive sufficient driving force. In severe cases, this may prevent the car from starting. The clutch disc in a car acts as the medium for transferring engine power to the gearbox. Similar to brake pads, its friction material is primarily made of asbestos-based compounds, which offer certain high-temperature resistance properties. During driving, pressing the clutch pedal separates the clutch disc from the engine flywheel; when the pedal is released, the clutch disc re-engages with the flywheel, allowing the engine's power to match the vehicle's speed.
