What are the symptoms of a faulty car idle valve?

Symptoms of a faulty car idle valve: 1. Engine shaking; 2. A strong gasoline smell when the car is warm, and the idle speed becomes unstable, fluctuating between high and low. Excessive idle speed increases fuel consumption, and higher idle speeds also lead to greater emissions of CO and HC, thereby increasing vehicle exhaust emissions. The idle valve is installed on the throttle bypass air hole. The idle controller, based on the ignition signal, controls the air intake during engine idling. When the engine idle load increases, the ECU controls the idle control valve to increase the air intake, thereby raising the idle speed to prevent unstable engine speed or stalling. When the engine idle load decreases, the ECU controls the idle control valve to reduce the air intake, thereby lowering the idle speed to prevent excessively high idle speeds.
