Symptoms of a faulty car air conditioner evaporator: 1. Reduced engine power, uneven and gradually declining power output, leading to increasing lack of strength; 2. Increased fuel consumption; 3. Difficulty in cold starts, severe carbon buildup in the combustion chamber can cause cylinder knocking, noise during low-speed acceleration, damage to pistons and crankshaft, resulting in engine overheating and severely compromising vehicle safety; 4. Throttle malfunction, engine shaking, and unstable RPM. Steps to clean a car air conditioner evaporator: 1. Start the engine, turn on the air conditioner, and set the fan speed to high (system set to external circulation); 2. Insert the extension tube of the cleaning agent into the air intake vent or spray directly into the evaporator blower intake; 3. Adjust the air conditioner to cold air mode and spray again into the intake vent or evaporator blower intake; 4. Spray for 1 to 2 minutes, then stop, wait for the foam to dissipate, and continue spraying in small amounts multiple times until finished; 5. Switch the air conditioning system to internal circulation, close all doors and windows, and keep the system running for 10 minutes.
