What are the symptoms of a faulty boost solenoid valve?

Boost solenoid valve failure manifests as follows: Abnormal vehicle noise during driving: When the engine is operating above idle speed (i.e., running at 800 RPM or higher), the car produces unusual noises. Strong gasoline odor inside the cabin: Pressing the accelerator or brake pedal results in a noticeable gasoline smell inside the vehicle. Engine acceleration weakness: After starting, the engine idle speed fluctuates rhythmically between high and low, and the vehicle exhibits poor acceleration performance. Engine stalling or difficulty starting: The engine experiences ignition difficulties, or starts only to immediately shut off. It's advisable to inspect the carbon canister purge solenoid valve which may be causing these issues.
