There are mainly 4 subjects in the driver's license exam. The basic information of each subject is as follows: Subject 1 test content: Mainly tests basic knowledge such as road traffic safety laws and regulations, traffic signals and their meanings, and traffic rules. Subject 2 test content: Five items are mandatory, including reversing into a garage, parallel parking, stopping and starting on a slope, turning at a right angle, and driving on a curve. Some regions may have additional items. Currently, except for the requirement to complete slope starting within 30 seconds, time limits for reversing and parallel parking are still in the pilot phase and have not been fully implemented. Subject 3 test content: Subject 3 includes 16 driving skills such as vehicle preparation, starting, driving straight, shifting gears, changing lanes, pulling over, going straight through intersections, turning left at intersections, turning right at intersections, crossing pedestrian crossings, passing school zones, passing bus stops, meeting vehicles, overtaking, making U-turns, and light simulations. Subject 4 test content: The main test content includes safe and civilized driving operation requirements, safe driving knowledge under adverse weather and complex road conditions, emergency handling methods such as tire blowouts, and post-accident handling knowledge. Like Subject 1, it is a theoretical test (computer-based).
