What are the steps to remove the head unit of an Audi A6L?

Removing the Audi A6L's head unit does require some finesse. I've tried it several times when modifying my own car. Start by removing the AC control panel, carefully prying open the clips on both sides with the pry tool (avoid using metal tools to prevent scratching). This will reveal the head unit's frame.
