Steps for removing an automatic transmission: 1. Remove the torque converter from the front of the automatic transmission, loosen the fastening bolts, detach the torque converter housing at the front of the automatic transmission, remove the output shaft flange and the rear housing of the automatic transmission, and detach the speed sensor's induction rotor from the output shaft; 2. Remove the oil pan by taking out the connecting bolts of the oil pan, then insert the blade of a specialized repair tool between the transmission and the oil pan to cut through the applied sealant; 3. Disconnect all wiring harness connectors attached to the valve body, remove each solenoid valve and the throttle cable connected to the throttle valve, carefully pry off the hydraulic oil pipes with a screwdriver, loosen the fixing bolts between the oil inlet filter screen and the valve body, and remove the oil inlet filter from the valve body; 4. Remove the connecting bolts between the valve body and the automatic transmission housing, take out the valve body assembly, extract the check valve, spring, and accumulator piston from the oil passage of the automatic transmission housing, and remove the manual control valve lever and the parking lock pawl. If necessary, the manual control valve operating shaft can also be removed.
