What are the starting procedures for the BYD Han?

In the event of an emergency while the vehicle is in motion, the engine can be shut off by pressing the engine start/stop button for more than 3 seconds or by pressing it three times consecutively. If the engine stalls while the vehicle is in motion, shift the gear lever to the N (Neutral) position and press the engine start/stop button to restart the engine.
Every time I drive the BYD Han, I find the startup process incredibly simple. Just approach the car with the key, and the door handles automatically pop out to unlock. Sit in the driver's seat, press the brake pedal, and lightly tap the electronic ignition button—done. At this point, the digital instrument cluster and the large central touchscreen light up. Rotate the gear selector to D, and the electronic parking brake automatically disengages, allowing you to drive off instantly. If the key battery dies, no worries—just swipe the card key on the door handle to unlock. Additionally, the mobile app supports remote startup, which is especially great for pre-cooling the car in summer. The entire process is seamless, far more convenient than any gasoline-powered car I've driven, and completely silent—no noise pollution, making it especially peaceful in underground parking lots.
The startup process of the BYD Han is designed with great user-friendliness. You don't need to take the key out of your pocket—just approach the car, and it will automatically unlock. Open the door, sit down, press the brake pedal all the way, and then press the start button on the right side of the steering wheel. At this point, pay attention to the dashboard, which will display the "READY" indicator, indicating that the high-voltage system is powered on. Gently twist the rotary gear selector to the "D" position, and the electronic parking brake will automatically release. It's crucial to ensure the charging gun is unplugged; otherwise, the gear won't engage. After startup, you can use voice commands to control functions like navigation and air conditioning—just say "Hi, Xiao Di" to activate them. Tests have shown smooth startups even at -10°C, as the battery management system automatically preheats.
