The passive safety features of this Yusheng S350 are quite comprehensive, which is something I personally pay a lot of attention to. In addition to airbags for both the driver and front passenger, the vehicle body incorporates a significant amount of high-strength steel reinforcement, particularly in the front section, which can absorb energy and deform during a collision without collapsing into the cabin. The chassis uses a body-on-frame structure, essentially meaning it has a sturdy ladder frame, providing high overall rigidity. This ensures the body doesn’t creak or rattle when driving on rough roads, and you can feel more confident when going over potholes. The doors are equipped with anti-collision beams, and all four windows feature one-touch up/down with anti-pinch protection, which is especially thoughtful for families with young children. Additionally, the front seats come with pre-tensioning and load-limiting seatbelts, which prevent chest discomfort during sudden braking, and the rear seats are fitted with ISOFIX child seat anchors.

Driving this type of off-road vehicle is most challenging in rainy conditions due to slipping. The S350 is equipped with ABS plus EBD anti-lock braking systems. When braking on snowy days, you can feel the wheels performing intermittent braking, preventing the vehicle from skidding. Its built-in ESP anti-skid system is very user-friendly for beginners. Once, when I sharply turned the steering wheel on muddy terrain and the car started to skid sideways, the system forcefully pulled it back. The hill start assist and hill descent control are very practical. Driving in Chongqing, even on steep underground garage ramps, releasing the brake allows the car to stay in place for two seconds. The rearview camera has decent clarity, and with the radar, I can take my time reversing even at night. Additionally, the full-size spare tire is mounted under the trunk, providing an extra safety measure.

Is a Wheel Alignment Necessary After Replacing Shock Absorbers?

Whether a wheel alignment is necessary after replacing shock absorbers depends on the situation. If components of the axle and suspension have been removed, a wheel alignment is required; if not, it isn't necessary. For some vehicle models, replacing the shock absorbers involves removing all connecting components between the front suspension and the wheel hub, which affects the wheel alignment parameters of the front wheels. Therefore, a wheel alignment should be performed after replacing the shock absorbers. The wheel alignment of a car mainly adjusts the relative positional relationship between the wheels and the chassis (including the wheels, steering knuckles, front axle, etc.). For the front wheels, this includes caster angle, kingpin inclination, camber, and toe; for the rear wheels, it includes camber and toe.

What is the box installed on the roof of a car?

The box installed on the roof of a car is a rooftop cargo box, which is usually an aftermarket accessory added by car owners. After installing a rooftop cargo box, more luggage can be carried, thereby enhancing the vehicle's loading capacity. Before installing a rooftop cargo box, it is necessary to install roof racks first, otherwise the cargo box cannot be secured. Thule is one of the more common brands for both roof racks and rooftop cargo boxes. Some car owners also install rear-mounted racks to carry bicycles. It is permissible to install roof racks and rooftop cargo boxes, but they must comply with regulations; otherwise, it is not allowed.

How to Adjust Car Lights?

Methods for adjusting car lights: First, find a wall with dim surrounding light, then drive the car to a position about 10 meters away from the wall, ensuring the car is perpendicular to the wall and the ground is level. At the center of the front of the vehicle, place a piece of tape 10 cm below the headlight height on the wall. Measure the distance from the low-beam bulb to the center of the car emblem, and adjust the headlights until the beam is projected straight forward. Note that the core of the headlight is the bulb, and its performance will affect nighttime illumination, directly impacting driving safety. Therefore, high-quality headlight bulbs should be used to fully ensure safety. Low-quality bulbs have a short lifespan and cannot guarantee stable performance.
