Great Wall M4 co-pilot window cannot be raised due to reasons such as damaged window lift motor, motor overheating protection, blocked guide rails, or aging rubber seals. Damaged window lift motor: If there is a burning smell or abnormal noise inside the door panel when holding down the window button for a long time, it is very likely that the window lift motor components are damaged. In this case, it is recommended to directly contact a 4S store or auto repair shop to replace the window lift motor. Motor overheating protection: To protect the power supply circuit, most window lift motors are equipped with an overheating protection mechanism. If the components overheat for some reason, the motor will enter an overheating protection state, causing the window to malfunction. In this case, simply wait for the motor to cool down. Blocked guide rails or aging rubber seals: Most cases where the window glass cannot be raised are caused by mechanical jamming. Simply clean the guide rails and apply some lubricating oil. If the malfunction is caused by aging or deformed glass rubber seals, new sealing strips need to be replaced. If it is due to blockage, simply clean it.
