What are the reasons why a BMW key cannot be detected?

BMW key detection failure can be caused by a dead battery, electromagnetic interference, etc. Key fob malfunction: The key fob malfunction may result from damage to internal circuits due to mechanical impact or burning of transmitter components after water exposure. Dead battery: A dead battery prevents the vehicle's sensors from functioning properly, making them unable to receive signals from the key, thus causing detection failure. Electromagnetic interference: If the vehicle owner is in an environment with electromagnetic interference, it can disrupt signal transmission, leading to inaccurate recognition of the key fob signal. Poor soldering in the fuse box: Poor contact caused by cold solder joints can also lead to sensor failure. The most "down-to-earth" method is to gently tap the fuse box, which might temporarily reconnect the cold solder joint. However, this is not a permanent solution, and professional repair at a maintenance shop is still necessary.
