What are the reasons for the condenser fan not spinning?

Condenser fan not spinning may be caused by: insufficient power supply voltage failing to meet the air conditioning startup requirements, burnt-out fan capacitor, or open circuit in the fan coil. The condenser is a component of the air conditioning system that rapidly transfers heat from the tubes to the surrounding air. Most condensers are located in front of the radiator, serving as devices that convert gas or vapor into liquid. The condenser fan operates only when the air conditioning compressor is powered, while engine cooling is provided by a thermostatic clutch radiator fan driven by a belt. Most modern vehicles have eliminated the fan clutch and are equipped with a pair of electric fans installed behind or in front of the radiator and condenser.
