What are the reasons for the cancellation of EMU trains?

The reasons for the cancellation of EMU trains are as follows: Separation of passenger and freight transport: The Haoji Railway has just opened, leading to a sharp increase in freight pressure. Currently, Hubei can only rely on the Handan-Xiangyu line to handle freight pressure. It is an inevitable result to transfer the substantial transport resources occupied by EMU trains on the Handan line to freight transport. In fact, the situation of shifting high-speed rail to existing EMU lines has existed for several years, but it is the first time for Xiangyang residents to encounter it. Only able to enter Hankou Station: Currently, there is no nationwide timetable adjustment, and trains can only enter Hankou Station. The inability to enter Wuchang Station is because the line type between Wuchang and Hankou is LKJ, which can only support conventional-speed trains and EMU trains with a maximum speed of 250 km/h. The CRH380 and CR400 series trains used on the Han-Shi high-speed rail cannot enter Wuchang Station. Urban transportation infrastructure issues: The time taken to reach the high-speed rail station from the city center is too long, which is related to the city itself and not the railway bureau. Xiangyang is also planning to construct some high-speed rail express lines to reduce travel time.
