What are the reasons for the black screen of the Hongqi H5 central control screen?

There are several reasons for the black screen of the Hongqi H5 central control screen: 1. The central control screen system is frozen. Abnormal operation of system components due to high or low temperatures can cause this situation. In this case, simply wait for the vehicle temperature to become suitable for recovery. 2. The central control screen is mistakenly turned off. Pressing the power button can turn it back on. 3. The fuse of the vehicle's central control screen is blown. Without power supply, the central control screen will not light up. Simply replace the fuse in the engine compartment fuse box. 4. Check whether the power supply of the display screen is normal. If the power supply is abnormal, the power supply module needs to be replaced, and then check whether the cable connection is good.
Don't panic if your Hongqi H5's center console goes black—it's probably just frozen! Just like our smartphones occasionally freeze, car infotainment systems can act up too. Last time I was on the highway when the screen suddenly went completely black, even the AC interface disappeared, scaring me into pulling over immediately. Later, I found that holding down the volume knob for ten seconds to force a reboot fixed it—no need to visit the dealership at all. If rebooting doesn't work, check if the power cable has come loose, especially if you've installed a dash cam and tampered with the wiring—it can crash the system in no time. When the weather is extremely hot, the system might also black out due to overheating protection, but it'll recover once the car cools down.
I'm quite familiar with the issue of the center control screen going black. I helped a friend deal with it last time. In most cases, it's because the wiring harness connector at the back got loose from bumps, especially in cars where the rear seats are frequently used—the connection port inside the armrest can easily get kicked. Open the glove compartment, reach in and wiggle the wiring harness; sometimes the screen lights up with a click. Another easily overlooked point is the fuse. There's a small 7.5A fuse labeled 'Multimedia' in the fuse box on the passenger side. Just use your phone's flashlight to replace it, and it only costs two dollars. If the screen has backlight but no image, it's most likely the screen's ribbon cable that's gone bad.
