Audi A6 auto start-stop not working reasons are as follows: Failure to meet safety conditions: The vehicle has not reached the ideal working state. Low battery power or insufficient voltage can cause the auto start-stop to not work. This is because during engine shutdown, components like the engine cooling fan and in-car air conditioning require power to operate. Engine coolant temperature being too high or too low can also lead to the auto start-stop not functioning. Failure to reach preset conditions: The vehicle has not reached the driver's preset state. When the car's air conditioning is turned on in summer, if the engine shuts down, the air conditioning compressor will stop working. Once the in-car temperature differs too much from the air conditioning set temperature, the auto start-stop system will restart the engine.
