Haval F7x offers strong power, good configuration, high cost performance, and excellent space performance, with a good reputation. Here is a brief introduction about Haval F7x: 1. Strong power: F7X is positioned as a coupe SUV, equipped with two engines with displacements of 1.5T and 2.0T respectively. The 2.0T engine can output a maximum of 224 horsepower, with a torque of up to 385 Nm. 2. Good configuration and high cost performance: The top model includes a full set of driving assistance systems, 360-degree panoramic imaging, 5 driving mode switches, adaptive cruise control, automatic parking, hill descent control, keyless entry system, remote start, driver's seat ventilation and heating, etc. Among models of the same level, F7X's configuration is top-notch. 3. Excellent space performance: The body size reaches 4600mm, and the wheelbase reaches 2700mm. In actual riding experience, the rear legroom of Haval F7X is very spacious, and the rear roof does not lose practicality due to the fastback design.

I've been driving the Haval F7x for almost a year now, and it's quite convenient for daily commuting. The space is really generous—three people can sit comfortably in the back seat, and the trunk has plenty of room for luggage. The driving experience is smooth, with light steering, and it doesn't bump much over speed bumps. The fuel consumption isn't exactly low, around 12L/100km in the city and dropping to 8L/100km on the highway, which is acceptable. The interior looks decent but has a bit of a plastic feel and tends to gather dust. The noise insulation is average, with noticeable wind noise, but the Bose sound system makes up for it with its powerful performance. The reverse camera is clear, and the automatic emergency braking has kicked in a few times, which is quite practical. Overall, as a family SUV, it offers great value for money—reliable and durable. Minor issues like the occasional lag in the infotainment system are tolerable.

I chose the Haval F7x mainly for its high cost-performance ratio. I spent 150,000 RMB to get the top trim, which is fully loaded with features like a panoramic sunroof, leather seats, and automatic air conditioning. After driving it for eight months, maintenance costs are quite affordable at just 300-400 RMB per service. Fuel expenses are manageable, but the short pure electric range means frequent refueling is necessary. The space is sufficient for picking up and dropping off kids without any pressure, and the trunk can easily accommodate shopping baskets. The downsides include some rough interior details with noticeable gaps and fast depreciation affecting resale value. However, it’s economical for daily use with low maintenance pressure and a low failure rate—just minor issues like easily burnt bulbs that can be replaced by yourself.

The power of the Haval F7x pleasantly surprised me. The 1.5T engine delivers strong acceleration from the start, making overtaking effortless. The handling is stable with solid chassis support, especially in corners, and the quick switch to sport mode gives it a coupe-like feel. However, the tire grip is slightly weak, so be cautious of slipping in rainy conditions. The exhaust note has a sporty vibe, and it feels rock-solid at high speeds. The driving experience is a perfect 10, which is the main reason I bought it. The smart features, like ACC cruise control and automatic following, are also a plus. Overall, it offers great value for money, though the fuel consumption is on the higher side—around 13L/100km in the city. But the trade-off for the fun factor is totally worth it.
