What are the principles and operational methods of drifting?
1 Answers
Drifting occurs when the rear wheels lose most of their traction while the front wheels maintain grip. At this point, a certain amount of lateral force on the front wheels will initiate a drift. Methods include: pulling the handbrake while driving straight and then steering; pulling the handbrake during a turn; sharply applying the brakes while driving straight and then steering; and sharply applying the brakes during a turn.
