Penalties for motor vehicles driving in non-motorized lanes: A warning or fine may be imposed. According to Article 37 of the Road Traffic Safety Law, where special lanes are designated on the road, only specified vehicles are allowed to travel within the special lanes, and other vehicles are not permitted to enter. On roads where motor vehicle lanes, non-motorized lanes, and pedestrian lanes are not divided, motor vehicles should travel in the middle of the road, while non-motorized vehicles and pedestrians should travel on both sides. A non-motorized lane refers to the lane on the roadway of a highway or urban road, from the right curb (or line) of the sidewalk to the first lane dividing line (or barrier or pier), or the lane marked on the sidewalk. Except under special circumstances, it is exclusively for non-motorized vehicles.
