Starting from January 1, 2013, driving a motor vehicle on the road without displaying a license plate, or intentionally covering, defacing, or improperly installing a license plate, will result in a one-time 12-point deduction. Basis: Article 95, Paragraph 2 of the "Road Traffic Safety Law": Intentionally covering, defacing, or improperly installing a motor vehicle license plate shall be penalized in accordance with the provisions of Article 90 of this law. 2. Article 90 of the "Road Traffic Safety Law": Motor vehicle drivers who violate the road traffic safety laws and regulations regarding road usage shall be given a warning or fined. If this law provides otherwise, penalties shall be imposed accordingly.
