2020 Beijing entry permit new regulations: 1. Starting from November 1, 2019, passenger vehicles with license plates issued by other provinces, autonomous regions, or municipalities must obtain an entry permit when entering roads within the Sixth Ring Road (excluding) and all roads within the Tongzhou District (excluding main highways); 2. Each vehicle can apply for a maximum of 12 entry permits per year, with each permit valid for up to 7 days. Before the expiration of the permit, the vehicle must exit the aforementioned areas; 3. If a vehicle without an entry permit or with an expired permit is parked on urban roads above branch road level within the specified areas, the number of days the vehicle can apply for entry permits in the current year will be reduced accordingly based on the number of days parked; 4. Driving within the specified areas without an entry permit or with an expired permit will be considered a violation of the prohibition sign and will be subject to penalties by the traffic management department of the public security authority in accordance with the law.
